Description

Acer rubrum 'Autumn Blaze' (also known as A. x freemanii 'Jeffsred') is an upright, fast-growing, deciduous tree with uniform branching. The deeply cut, medium green leaves change to a blazing orange-red in the fall. An excellent lawn, park, or street tree that will tolerate wet soils with good drainage.

Plant care

Best in moist, mildly acidic soil with good drainage. Water regularly after planting until roots are established then reduce frequency and water as needed. Some mild drought tolerance, but prefers regular irrigation. Feed in spring before new growth emerges.
