Description

Arctic Frost Dwarf Mat Rush is a lovely, variegated grass-like evergreen perennial with distinctive contrasting vertical stripes of green and white leaves. Lomandra longifolia 'Arctic Frost' adds texture to the garden with its tidy tufts of narrow, gracefully arching foliage. Plant this drought tolerant perennial in the landscape in large groupings or as an accent. Also great for patio containers or raised beds.

Plant Care

Plant in well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be reduced once established. Drought-tolerant once established but will need some water in Summer. Prune dead foliage in early spring, before the new growth emerges.
